Ersan Ilyasova Trusts The Process

Over the weekend, the Atlanta Hawks and Ersan Ilyasova reached an agreement on a buy-out. After completing the waiver process, Ilyasova has decided to join a familiar Eastern Conference team.

Ersan Ilyasova has decided to trust the process, and is talking his shooting talents back to the city of brotherly love. Ilyasova played for the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2016-2017 season, before he was traded from Philadelphia to Atlanta.

During his time there, Ilyasova averaged 27.3 minutes per game, 14.8ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.7apg, while shooting 36% from three. With the 76ers in the midst of a heated Eastern Conference playoff seeding battle, they will need all of these intangibles to keep them closer to the upper echelon.

Being familiar with the cast of current 76ers team will help the transition into the lineup a lot smoother for both sides. Playing with a healthy Joel Embiid, who is always demanding double teams, and the passing wizard of Ben Simmons, Ilyasova will have all of the opportunities to sit in the corner and shoot threes.
